The staff at Amelia Earhart is dedicated to the success of all students. We offer a challenging curriculum based on state standards as well as the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB-PYP). This program is designed to develop students' critical thinking skills while modeling positive behaviors and attitudes. We will model international perspective while guiding each child towards developing the PYP Learner Profile within him or herself. In doing so, we will prepare our students for academic excellence and leadership in our global community.

Earhart Elementary is an authorized IB/PYP World School. Instruction in the core curriculum is aligned to Common Core State Standards and augmented by inquiry-based units as outlined in the IB-PYP framework. Our single-subject teachers offer instruction in Spanish, music, and physical education. Our staff is actively involved with data-driven decision making, participates in up-to-date training and believes in Professional Learning Communities as we work to meet the needs of individual students.

The Earhart school community is a contributing and active part of the school providing a world class educational experience. The effectiveness of our classroom programs is enhanced with the commitment of everyone working in partnership. Students, staff, parents, and each member of this community work for continuous improvement and academic success. The involvement and support from all invested stakeholders is greatly appreciated. There are a number of opportunities for parents to become involved. Please join us!
